CATCH THE ACE IS BACK!

Do you want to have a chance to win big while helping local healthcare organizations?

St. Francis Valley Healthcare (SFVH) Foundation’s Catch the Ace is back! The popular lottery will relaunch after an incredible successful 7th lottery, which ran from November 2023 right to the 52nd draw held in October 2024. Barry’s Bay’s Edgar Lucas was the lucky grand prize winner, who took home an amazing $479,830.

The last lottery netted an impressive $636,840 for equipment needs at St. Francis Memorial Hospital. A portion of those funds have already been used to purchase a mobile x-ray unit at a cost of $212,911.38.

This time around, proceeds from the 8th round of Catch the Ace will go toward the area of greatest equipment needs at SFVH Foundation’s healthcare partners, which include St. Francis Memorial Hospital, Madawaska Valley Hospice Palliative Care and Valley Manor. You Win. Local Healthcare Wins.

“We are thrilled to see the continued success of Catch the Ace, and the incredible support it brings to our local healthcare partners,” SFVH Foundation Executive Director Erin Gienow said. “Each ticket purchased makes a direct impact, helping us provide essential equipment to St. Francis Memorial Hospital, Madawaska Valley Hospice Palliative Care, and Valley Manor. Together, we’re not just playing for a chance to win – we’re playing to ensure better healthcare for everyone in our community.”

Ticket sales start on Thursday, April 17 and the first live draw will be held on Thursday, May 1. Draws will continue weekly until the Ace of Spades is found. Watch the live stream draws on the Foundation’s Facebook page.
